The shared bathrooms and toilets, though initially a concern, turned out to be spotlessly clean and well maintained, causing no inconvenience to our group. the standout feature for me was the gourmet quality dinners we enjoyed, truly surpassing restaurant standards. the convenient location of the lodge made it perfect for our tramping activities, providing easy access to the trails. the room itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. the peaceful and rural setting, coupled with the cleanliness of the facilities, created a tranquil atmosphere that was incredibly rejuvenating. Overall, Last Light Lodge exceeded my expectations in every aspect, setting a new standard for sustainable and welcoming accommodations in the area. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a memorable and eco-conscious stay in a beautiful natural setting.
